Meet Our Lay Pastor: Phillip & Camela Williams
We are blessed to welcome Lay Pastor Phillip Williams and his wife, Camela, into the Missionary Wesleyan Church family. Together, they embody a heart for ministry, carrying a deep passion for serving both locally and abroad.
Family & Roots in Faith
Residing in Rutherfordton, NC, Phillip and Camela are the proud parents of Cincere and Aushalay. To their grandchildren, Willow and Hartlyn, they are affectionately known as “Poppie and Lollie.” Their family life is rooted in faith and love, which shines through in every aspect of their ministry.
Ministry Journey
Since beginning their ministry together in 2015, Phillip and Camela have faithfully shared the love of Christ through service and mission work. Their outreach has stretched from Rutherford County to international fields in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Honduras, where they have worked to feed people both physically and spiritually.
Phillip first stepped into ministry under Pastor Herald Davis in Marion, NC, and his calling has since taken him across Kentucky, Alabama, Tennessee, and beyond. Camela, a gifted vocalist, has ministered for many years through music and is currently singing with JC & Company.
Eyes of Jesus Foundation
Their work also extends through the Eyes of Jesus Foundation, a non-profit organization in the Dominican Republic where Phillip serves as president and Camela as secretary. Through this ministry, they continue to meet the needs of the overlooked and underserved, living out Christ’s command to care for “the least of these.”
A Mission that Guides Their Lives
The heartbeat of their ministry can be summed up in a simple but powerful mission:
“Love God. Love People.”
This guiding truth shapes everything they do, from preaching and teaching to serving and singing.
A Warm Welcome
We are truly honored to have Phillip and Camela serving here at Missionary Wesleyan Church. We invite you to join us in praying for their ministry, supporting their calling, and extending a warm welcome as they continue to follow God’s leading among us.
